International Endodontic Summit (IES) 2026: Komet Dental hosts its first international Endodontic Congress

Lemgo, April 10, 2026 – How will endodontics be practiced in the future? With this year’s International Endodontic Summit (IES), Komet Dental is introducing a continuing education format built around exactly that question. The summit brings together internationally recognized experts and dedicated dentists with a strong focus on endodontics. At its core are evidence-based concepts, structured clinical decision pathways, and content with direct relevance to everyday practice.

On October 1 and 2, 2026, Komet Dental will host their first International Endodontic Summit (IES) at Hotel Oderberger in Berlin. Deliberately focused on 300 participants, the IES creates an environment for experts for scientific exchange at the highest level. The scientific program is complemented by 14 accredited CME points*.

The International Endodontic Summit (IES) combines scientific depth with clinical workflows and practice-relevant Impulses for the future of Endodontics.

Advanced clinical endodontics at peer level: focus, depth and dialogue

The scientific program is centered on Advanced Clinical Endodontics and follows the complete clinical workflow: from diagnosis to therapeutic strategies and treatment techniques through to post-endodontic restoration. This structure creates clarity and supports implementation in daily treatment. Topics on the agenda include future-focused fields such as artificial intelligence in the dental office and in endodontics, current concepts in pulpotomy, questions of timing and efficiency, bioceramic sealers, the management of endodontic failures, and restorative treatment concepts including CAD/CAM. Additional discussion formats deepen the content and encourage meaningful professional exchange.

Prof. Massimo Gagliani coordinates the scientific program and aligns the content in a deliberate and coherent way. Together with the speakers, he ensures the clinical quality of all presentations. The lectures will be delivered by renowned international speakers from Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic, all of whom are recognized experts in their field.

IES deliberately prioritizes depth over breadth, clinical relevance over generalization, and scientific exchange with room for in-depth discussion. Attendance is focused to a maximum of 300 participants. This intentional limitation creates the conditions for focused peer-level dialogue and direct access to international experts. They are available not only as presenters, but also as conversation partners. Alongside direct exchange and a shared dinner event, the historic setting of Hotel Oderberger also contributes to an environment that connects scientific substance with everyday clinical routine.

“The IES was created to foster scientific depth, structured clinical thinking and meaningful professional exchange. With a clear focus on advancing endodontic excellence and translating evidence-based knowledge into everyday clinical practice.” says Prof. Massimo Gagliani, Scientific Coordinator of the International Endodontic Summit.
